Welcome to Rizq. By creating an account, browsing, placing an order, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the App. These Terms apply to both Android and iOS users unless a section explicitly states otherwise.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Rizq (the "App"). "Rizq", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the Rizq mobile application, website, and related grocery delivery services. Rizq is currently operated as an independent service. These Terms may be updated if the service is later operated by a registered legal entity.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the App and related services, including grocery browsing, ordering, delivery coordination, and customer support.
By creating an account, browsing, placing an order, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Eligibility / Use of the App
You may use the App only if:
- You are legally able to enter into binding agreements under applicable law.
- You provide accurate and complete information.
- You use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise approved by us in writing.
You may browse available stores and products as a guest without creating an account. Placing orders requires account registration.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Registration
To place orders, you must register using your mobile phone number. We verify your identity using a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS. No email address or social login is required or used for authentication.
You agree to:
- Provide a current, accurate phone number.
- Keep your verification credentials secure.
- Be responsible for activities under your account unless unauthorized use is reported promptly.
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized account access.
Your authentication tokens are stored securely on your device. You may log out at any time, and your session will be invalidated.
4. Orders and Acceptance
When you place an order, you submit a purchase request. Order confirmation in the App indicates we have accepted the order for processing, subject to availability, delivery feasibility, and payment status.
We may refuse, limit, or cancel orders where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or technical errors
- Suspected fraud or misuse
- Delivery constraints
- Regulatory or legal requirements
5. Pricing and Availability
For grocery and quick commerce operations:
- Product availability can change quickly.
- Prices are captured at the time you add items to your cart. The price shown at checkout reflects the price at the time of your order, which may differ from a previously displayed price if the cart was not recently refreshed.
- Promotions may start, change, or end without prior notice unless otherwise stated.
- Product images and descriptions may be illustrative; packaging, size, and labeling may vary.
- Delivery fees and service charges (if applicable) are shown at checkout.
Where a product in your order is unavailable at the time of picking, it may be marked as not found. The App may display substitution outcomes, but we do not currently support a user-initiated substitution approval flow. We will communicate any material changes to your order before dispatch where operationally possible.
6. Delivery
Delivery is available in selected service areas. By placing an order, you agree that:
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- You are responsible for providing accurate address, contact details, and access instructions.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, store preparation times, holidays, force majeure, or high demand.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect details, no response, or an unsafe or inaccessible location, we may cancel the order. Any applicable refund will follow the process described in Section 7.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Order cancellation is not currently available as a self-service action within the App. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your request depending on the current status of the order.
If an order is cancelled by us due to unavailability, operational issues, or delivery failure, eligible refunds will be processed as follows:
- Cash on Delivery orders: refunds may be issued as wallet credit or through another method communicated at the time of resolution.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
8. Promotions and Discounts
Promotional codes, credits, and discounts may be offered under specific conditions.
- Promotions may have expiry dates, usage limits, minimum basket values, store restrictions, and geographic limits.
- Promotions are non-transferable and may not be combined unless explicitly allowed.
- We may reject or revoke promotions in cases of misuse, abuse, or technical error.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Interfere with App operations, security, or other users.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Use bots, scraping, or automated tools without written authorization.
- Submit false orders, payment disputes in bad faith, or abusive support requests.
10. Intellectual Property
All content and technology in the App, including software, branding, trademarks, logos, designs, text, and media, are owned by or licensed to Rizq and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal use in accordance with these Terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App and services are provided on an "as available" basis.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity.
- Our total liability related to a specific order or claim may be limited to the amount paid for that order, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rizq, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misuse of the App
- Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
13. Termination / Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access to the App, with or without notice, where reasonably necessary, including for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Fraud, abuse, or security concerns
- Legal or regulatory requirements
You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion through the in-app settings or by contacting us.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
You agree that disputes may be subject to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless applicable law requires another forum.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at quickrizq.com/terms and/or made available in the App with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use after updates become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
